Adam Ware

Adam Ware is an digital measurement and optimization strategist in Portland, Oregon. He is the CEO of SwellPath, which he co-founded with John Koenig in early 2009. SwellPath provides digital analytics services to clients like Nike, Intel, KEEN, InFocus, Jive Software, JELD-WEN and many other businesses in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Adam was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. He migrated to Oregon in 1993 to attend Willamette University. After graduating in 1998 with a degree in English and Religious studies, he moved to Portland. He quickly discovered that certain hobbies he had developed, namely programming, HTML writing, and basic networking, could land him some pretty fun jobs.

After 3 months at an obligatory “web master” position, he took a position as a web developer at lucy.com (later to become lucy activewear). A career in internet and digital based businesses was spawned.

Through various jobs, and over the course of several years, Adam focused his career on usability, measurement, analytics, and optimization. He currently employs his skills and knowledge in these areas, when helping SwellPath’s clients achieve their business goals. He also handles SwellPath’s business development, finance, and client relations needs.
